Education Ministry Clarifies Pre-Integration Training for Teachers

Algiers – The Ministry of National Education has issued a clarifying statement regarding the pre-integration training program for education sector employees across all three levels: primary, middle, and secondary. This announcement comes in response to inaccurate information circulating on social media and certain union pages.

The Ministry emphasizes that this training is a legally mandated and pre-planned procedure. Its primary objective is to regularize the status of teachers eligible for integration into new ranks, enabling them to swiftly benefit from the financial and administrative advantages associated with the promotion.

The Ministry clarified that the training is a legal prerequisite for integration, strategically scheduled to expedite the regularization process without disrupting the normal functioning of educational institutions.

According to the statement, the training program will consist of:

  • A four-month training period
  • Classes held every Saturday
  • A total of 80 hours, the minimum legally required, in coordination with the Directorate General of Public Service and Administrative Reform.

Acknowledging the special circumstances of Ramadan, the Ministry has decided to postpone the practical training component, which takes place within the teachers’ respective educational institutions, until after the holy month.

The Ministry of Education stressed that the training program takes into account the knowledge and skills associated with the new rank being integrated into, ensuring professional consistency and improved quality in educational performance.

The Ministry concluded its statement by affirming that the teachers concerned will be integrated immediately upon completion of the training, with full access to all rights and benefits associated with the new rank. It urged individuals to obtain information from official sources and avoid rumors.
