Interior Minister Inspects Flood Damage in Chlef Province

Chlef, Algeria – The Minister of Interior, Local Authorities, and Transportation, Said Saayoud, conducted an inspection today in Chlef province to assess the damage caused by recent severe weather conditions. The visit comes in the wake of heavy rainfall and flooding that affected several municipalities within the province.

The Minister’s visit underscores the government’s commitment to providing support and assistance to affected communities. During his tour, Minister Saayoud surveyed the extent of the damage to infrastructure, housing, and agricultural land. Tragically, the severe weather also resulted in the death of a young girl in the municipality of Zeboudja. Minister Saayoud expressed his condolences to the family and pledged that the government would provide all necessary assistance during this difficult time.
