Constantine, Algeria – The Presidential Award for Best Exporter 2025 was awarded to leading Algerian companies that have significantly contributed to diversifying exports beyond hydrocarbons. The ceremony, held in Constantine, was presided over by the Prime Minister, representing President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, showcased the theme “Quality, Trust, Leadership,” underscoring Algeria’s strategic focus on enhancing the value and global presence of Algerian products.
A high-profile delegation, including the Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, the Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the Minister of Youth, attended the ceremony, along with regional governors and representatives from various professional and economic bodies.
ETS HADDOUD SALIM was recognized as the Best Exporter in the agricultural products category for its outstanding performance in marketing and exporting Algerian dates. Sonelgaz received the award for Best Exporter in the services sector, while ALDAPH NOVO NORDISK was awarded Best Exporter in the pharmaceutical industry for its success in expanding the international reach of Algerian pharmaceutical products.
SOBCO was awarded in the food industries sector, and ABBAS TURKI SOUAD was recognized as the Best Young Exporter, highlighting the encouragement of entrepreneurship and support for innovative youth initiatives.
This event underscores the government’s commitment to promoting national exports and enhancing the competitiveness of the Algerian economy, particularly in sectors outside of the traditional hydrocarbon industry. The awards highlight the critical role these companies play in driving economic diversification and growth.
