Bus Accident in M’Sila Injures 23 Passengers

A bus accident in the M’Sila province resulted in injuries to 23 people early Sunday morning. The incident occurred on National Road 46, just outside the city of M’Sila in the direction of Djelfa, specifically in the Tlilate area, part of the Slim municipality.

Civil Protection services responded to the scene at approximately 4:20 AM following reports of a passenger bus veering off course and overturning. The bus was operating on the Adrar-Setif route and was traveling towards Djelfa when the accident took place.

According to authorities, the 23 injured individuals range in age from 16 to 66 years old. All sustained minor injuries and received initial treatment at the scene before being transported to a local hospital for further medical attention.

The Civil Protection deployed seven ambulances and a rescue truck to manage the emergency response. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
