Boudari Inaugurates First Unified Window at Bab Ezzouar University

Bab Ezzouar, Algeria – Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamal Boudari, officially inaugurated the first unified window at the Houari Boumediene University of Science and Technology (USTHB) in Bab Ezzouar earlier today. This marks a significant step in streamlining administrative processes for students and researchers across the nation.

The inauguration, according to a statement released by the Ministry, is in direct response to a joint ministerial decree mandating the establishment of unified windows in three pilot universities during the first year of its implementation. The initiative aims to centralize key administrative services, reducing bureaucratic hurdles and improving efficiency for users.

The unified window will serve as a single point of contact for various services, including enrollment, transcript requests, certificate issuance, and research-related administrative tasks. This centralized system is expected to significantly decrease processing times and enhance the overall experience for students and faculty.

During his visit, Minister Boudari also inaugurated a specialized economic subsidiary of the Center for Physical and Chemical Analysis (CRAPC). This new entity is designed to foster innovation and promote collaboration between the university and the private sector. The subsidiary will focus on commercializing research findings and providing specialized analytical services to industries.

The move signals the government’s commitment to modernizing the higher education sector and promoting research and development. The unified window and the CRAPC subsidiary are expected to play a crucial role in enhancing the university’s competitiveness and contributing to Algeria’s economic growth.

University officials expressed their enthusiasm for the new initiatives, highlighting their potential to transform the university into a more efficient and responsive institution. They also emphasized the importance of ongoing training and support to ensure the successful implementation of these reforms.
