Doha, Qatar – Algerian Minister of Justice, Lotfi Boujemaa, was received by his Qatari counterpart, Ibrahim bin Ali bin Issa Al-Hassan Al-Mohannadi, who also serves as the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, on Monday. The meeting took place in Doha as part of Minister Boujemaa’s official visit to Qatar.
According to a statement released by the Algerian Ministry of Justice, the discussions centered on the current state of bilateral relations between Algeria and Qatar in the legal and judicial spheres. Both ministers explored mechanisms and tools to further strengthen and develop these ties in the future. The meeting was also attended by Saleh Attia, the Algerian Ambassador to Qatar.
Minister Al-Mohannadi expressed his appreciation to Minister Boujemaa for accepting the invitation to attend the inaugural Doha Forum on Law, extending a warm welcome to him and his delegation. He conveyed his gratitude for their presence at the event.
In response, Minister Boujemaa expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and hospitality he received in Qatar. He conveyed his best wishes for the success of the Doha Forum on Law, hoping that its outcomes would contribute to improving the legal framework and legislative environment.
Minister Boujemaa’s official visit to Qatar, spanning January 26th and 27th, includes leading a high-level delegation to participate in the first edition of the Doha Forum on Law. The forum’s theme is “Emerging Trends and Future Visions.”
