Algiers – The National Office for Hajj and Umrah (ONHO) today announced the official launch of online account registration for the Hajj season 1447 AH / 2026 AD. The registration process is accessible through the Algerian Hajj portal and the ‘Rakkb El Hadj’ (Pilgrim Convoy) mobile application, aiming to streamline procedures and enhance support for Algerian pilgrims.
According to a statement released by the ONHO, account creation will commence on Tuesday, Sha’ban 8, 1447 AH, corresponding to January 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM local time. The Office urges all citizens intending to perform Hajj in 2026, and who have chosen to travel under the auspices of the ONHO, to promptly create their online accounts within the specified timeframe.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to digitize administrative services and simplify the pilgrim registration process. The online platform enables pilgrims to easily and transparently track various organizational, health, and administrative stages of their Hajj journey.
Citizens can access the Algerian Hajj portal through the official website. The ‘Rakkb El Hadj’ application is also available for download on Android smartphones, offering a range of digital services to assist pilgrims throughout their preparations for performing the rituals. This measure is part of ongoing preparations for the 2026 Hajj season and reflects the authorities’ commitment to ensuring the best possible conditions for pilgrims, particularly in terms of organization, health monitoring, and quality air transportation in coordination with Air Algerie.
