JANET, ALGERIA – Lieutenant General Mohamed Salah Benbicha, Secretary-General of the Ministry of National Defense, received Vice Admiral Giacinto Ottaviani, Italian National Armaments Director, today at the Army Site Club in Janet, Fourth Military Region.
The meeting, held on Tuesday, marks a significant step in bolstering defense cooperation between Algeria and Italy.
Following the reception, the two officials co-chaired the 16th session of the Algerian-Italian Joint Committee for Cooperation in Technical-Military Fields and Defense Industries. This session provided a platform for in-depth discussions on matters of mutual interest, particularly concerning technical military domains and the development of defense industries, according to a statement released by the Ministry of National Defense.
