Prime Minister Holds Phone Call with Qatari Prime Minister

Prime Minister Sifi Gharib held a phone call on Monday with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, during which they discussed the current state and prospects for developing bilateral relations between the two countries.

According to the Prime Minister’s office, Sifi Gharib conveyed the greetings of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to the Emir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, along with his sincere wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the brotherly Qatari people.

The two parties praised the strength of the brotherly relations between the two countries and peoples, as well as the level reached by bilateral cooperation and the momentum it is witnessing in various fields, thanks to the high directives of the leaders of the two countries, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

In this context, both sides emphasized the importance of continuing to work together to develop and diversify bilateral cooperation, particularly in economic fields. They noted the importance of activating bilateral cooperation mechanisms at all levels to strengthen relations, implement and support joint investment projects, and intensify consultation and coordination on issues of common interest.

For his part, the Prime Minister of the State of Qatar emphasized the strategic nature of bilateral relations in accordance with the vision established by the leaders of the two countries. He conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, expressing his sincere will to work with him to elevate bilateral cooperation in various fields.
