The National Meteorological Office has reported significant thunderstorms and strong winds across several provinces of the country.
A weather alert issued this Monday warned of significant thunderstorms starting from 18:00 and continuing until midnight in the provinces of Tlemcen, Sidi Bel Abbes, and Saida.
Another alert reported strong winds with speeds that may exceed 80 km/h, starting from 10:00 until 23:00, affecting the provinces of Tlemcen, Sidi Bel Abbes, Saida, Djelfa, Laghouat, Naama, and El Bayadh.
According to another bulletin, the provinces of Bechar, Beni Abbes, Tindouf, and Timimoun will experience strong winds with speeds potentially exceeding 80 km/h, from noon today until 22:00.
The same services also reported strong winds starting from noon today and continuing until midnight in Ain Temouchent, Oran, Mostaganem, Chlef, Mascara, Relizane, Tiaret, Tissemsilt, Ain Defla, Blida, Medea, Bouira, M’Sila, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Setif, Batna, Khenchela, Tebessa, Ghardaia, El Menia, and Adrar.
