Minister of National Education Mohamed Seghir Saadaoui emphasized the necessity of strict commitment to the legal procedures and regulations governing the submission of candidacy files for the teacher recruitment competition. He particularly highlighted those related to degrees, ensuring transparency and equal opportunity for all candidates in strict compliance with the governing legal and regulatory texts.
During a national video conference held yesterday, Sunday, from the ministry’s headquarters, the minister opened the floor for education directors to present concerns and observations regarding the situations they encountered during the candidate registration process.
Saadaoui affirmed the ministry’s keenness to listen to all observations and address them to ensure the smooth running of the competition. He noted the formation of a follow-up cell at the central administration level dedicated to studying inquiries and providing necessary clarifications.
The minister also addressed aspects related to accepted degrees, reminding of the supplementary circular regarding the list of degrees required for recruitment and promotion in ranks belonging to the national education sector, which was approved by the General Directorate of Public Service.
Regarding provinces with Higher Teacher Training Schools or their branches, Saadaoui pointed to the high level of coordination between the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This coordination aims to meet the expressed needs for graduates from these schools, leading to the establishment of new Higher Teacher Training Schools and the opening of several branches in various provinces to train the largest possible number of teachers for the sector in the future.
In this context, the official stressed the need to translate this central coordination into communication between education directors in these provinces and the directors of the Higher Teacher Training Schools and their branches, to monitor the reality of the training process within the framework of cooperation between the two ministries.
