National team coach Vladimir Petkovic announced the end of player Jaouen Hadjam’s journey with the national team in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations finals.
During a press conference held on Monday, Petkovic revealed that after attempts to recover Hadjam’s services, it was ultimately decided to allow him to leave to complete the necessary treatment with his club.
Jaouen Hadjam suffered a serious ankle injury during the national team’s second-round match of the Africa Cup of Nations group stage against Burkina Faso.
