The national team secured its qualification for the quarter-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations today, Tuesday, with great difficulty, following a 1-0 victory over the Congolese team, scored by player Boulbina in the 118th minute.
The match ended in a goalless draw during regulation time, leading the two teams into extra time.
The “Greens” will face the Nigerian team in the next round, which qualified at the expense of Mozambique with a 4-0 win, on January 10 in Marrakech.
