The National Union of Taxi Drivers announced the gradual resumption of transport activity in its various forms across all provinces of the country.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the union reassured citizens in general and travelers in particular that matters are returning to their normal course, ensuring the continuity of public service within a framework of responsibility and commitment.
The union expressed pride in all transporters, taxi drivers, and freight transporters for their wise response to the union’s calls, their sense of responsibility, and for prioritizing the interests of the nation and citizens above all considerations.
The National Union of Taxi Drivers considered that the high level of awareness shown by the transport community is definitive proof that Algeria has men determined to ensure the country remains safe and stable.
The union also highly valued the invitation from the President of the Council of the Nation, which reflects the level of institutional awareness of various Algerian state bodies and confirms their commitment to establishing a culture of dialogue and rapprochement.
It emphasized that the wisdom of the Algerian state, led by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has reached an advanced level in bringing citizens closer to state institutions, instilling mutual trust, and strengthening national stability.
