Ooredoo and Yassir Sign Partnership Agreement

Ooredoo and Yassir have announced the signing of a partnership agreement during a ceremony held on February 4, 2026, at the Ooredoo headquarters in Algiers. The agreement was signed by the General Manager of Ooredoo, Roni Tohme, and the founder and CEO of Yassir, Noureddine Tayebi, in the presence of senior executives and representatives from both parties.

This new partnership is part of a dynamic effort to create synergy between Yassir’s innovative platforms and Ooredoo’s technological expertise in the telecommunications sector.

The partnership is launched through an initial practical project dedicated to mobile payment and digital distribution, involving the marketing of “STORM” electronic recharges through the Yassir application. This initiative will enable customers to perform recharge operations directly via the Yassir platform, contributing to the modernization of sales channels and promoting the adoption of integrated digital payment solutions.

The collaboration aligns with a shared vision to promote financial inclusion by facilitating access to simple, secure, and accessible digital payment services for a wide segment of the public.

By combining Ooredoo’s connectivity and technological expertise with Yassir’s multi-service platform, the partnership aims to generalize the use of mobile payment solutions and enhance the financial inclusion of new segments of society, contributing to the development of a more inclusive digital economy in Algeria.

On this occasion, the General Manager of Ooredoo stated that the partnership with Yassir is part of the company’s digital transformation strategy and the diversification of its distribution channels. He added that it reflects a commitment to facilitating access to telecommunications services through innovative solutions adapted to new usage patterns.

For his part, Noureddine Tayebi, CEO of Yassir, emphasized that the cooperation represents a qualitative leap in the quest to simplify the daily lives of Algerians through technology. He noted that by integrating recharge services into the Yassir ecosystem, the platform is evolving into a comprehensive service hub.
