Algerian Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industry, Mokhtar Didouche, highlights the necessity of collaboration between the public and private sectors in training for the development of sustainable and economically efficient tourism. In the pursuit of a vibrant tourism industry, Minister Didouche underscores the pivotal role of collaboration between the public and private sectors in the field of training. Speaking during the signing of a cooperation agreement between training institutions under the supervision of the National Federation of Hotel and Tourism (FNHT), he emphasizes the ministry’s commitment to elevating the training system. This initiative aims to enable a larger number of students to enter the workforce and entrepreneurship.

Minister Didouche reveals plans to open annexes for training institutions nationwide, offering more opportunities for youth, introducing new sectors, and aligning specialties with current demands. He reaffirms the state’s utmost importance given to training, evident in its comprehensive role in the sector’s 2030 strategy.

Regarding the signed agreement, Minister Didouche explains, “This agreement involves our sector’s supervisory institutions, including the National Higher School of Tourism, the National Institute of Hotel Management in Bou Saada, the National Institute of Hotel and Tourism in Tizi Ouzou, and the National Federation of Hotel and Tourism.” He considers it the result of joint efforts to benefit the sector through training, with students benefiting from financial support to facilitate their entry into the working world and create job opportunities.

He adds, “Today’s meeting materializes the sector’s strategy and the state’s plan to prioritize the development of tourism in our country.
