Presidency’s Communication Directorate Offers Condolences on the Death of Journalist Nakhla Larbi

The General Directorate of Communication at the Presidency of the Republic expressed its condolences following the death of Nakhla Larbi, a journalist for the French-speaking Algerian channel, after a long battle with illness.

The condolence message stated: “With great sadness and sorrow, the General Directorate of Communication at the Presidency of the Republic received the news of the passing of journalist Nakhla Larbi, who worked for the French-speaking Algerian channel, after a long struggle with illness.”

The deceased began her professional career in the written press at the daily newspaper El Watan, before joining public television in 2010. With her passing, the television institution and the Algerian press in general lose a cultured journalist and a distinguished writer, recognized for her professionalism and humanitarian spirit.

May God grant her His vast mercy, admit her to His spacious gardens, and grant her family patience and solace. To God we belong and to Him we shall return.
