The first edition of the international exhibition “Mechanica Algeria,” dedicated to the automotive industry, subcontracting, and spare parts, opened on Tuesday at the “Ahmed Ben Ahmed” Convention Center in the province of Oran.
The exhibition, which runs until February 12, 2026, is organized by the “Eventrade” agency under the patronage of the Ministry of Industry, in partnership with the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency, the Algerian Economic Renewal Council, and the Oran Subcontracting Exchange.
The event features the participation of prominent actors in the automotive sector, including Stellantis Algeria, Chery, Jetour, Tersam, and Emin Auto, in addition to a significant number of companies specializing in the manufacturing of vehicles, spare parts, and industrial subcontracting.
National manufacturers of equipment and components are also participating, such as Fabcom in the battery sector and Iris in tire manufacturing, reflecting the diversity of industries and the development of local supply chain structures.
The exhibition is also characterized by a wide presence of spare parts producers and operators in the field of industrial subcontracting, with the aim of strengthening industrial integration and promoting national production.
