The Council of the Nation will hold a public session tomorrow, Tuesday, dedicated to presenting and discussing the text of an organic law containing the Basic Law of the Judiciary, at the Council’s headquarters.
According to a statement from the Council, the session’s work will begin with the presentation of the report of the Committee on Legal and Administrative Affairs, Human Rights, Local Organization, Territory Planning, and Territorial Division, regarding the validation of the membership of a new member in the Council of the Nation under the presidential third, and its approval.
The session will also be dedicated to presenting and discussing the text of an organic law containing the Basic Law of the Judiciary. The draft text will be presented by a government representative, followed by the presentation of the preliminary report of the Committee on Legal and Administrative Affairs, Human Rights, Local Organization, Territory Planning, and Territorial Division.
During the afternoon session, starting at 2:00 PM, the work will continue with listening to the interventions of the members of the Council of the Nation, and the program will conclude with the government representative’s response to the various interventions.
