The Ministry of National Education announced on Monday the working hours for educational institutions during the holy month of Ramadan. The Ministry set the working hours from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM across all regions of the country according to specific arrangements.
For primary schools operating on a single-shift system, the morning period will be reduced by 45 minutes and the afternoon period by 30 minutes, with students receiving a break of 1 hour and 15 minutes between the two periods. The morning period of 2 hours and 30 minutes will be reduced to 1 hour and 45 minutes, while the afternoon period of 2 hours will be reduced to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Regarding Tuesdays, the 4-hour and 30-minute period will be reduced to 3 hours and 15 minutes. For Thursdays for the first and second primary years, both the first and second periods will be reduced by 30 minutes.
The duration of one-hour lessons will be reduced by 15 minutes. The school day will be organized into two periods, each containing four lessons, with a 30-minute break between the morning and afternoon sessions.
