Nine people rescued following weather fluctuations

The General Directorate of Civil Protection has released a report on the general situation following the recent weather fluctuations experienced in several provinces.

In Relizane Province, Civil Protection units intervened to extract a truck stuck on the heavy vehicle road in a location known as Safour; the driver was reported to be in good condition. Additionally, a car carrying three people was extracted from the heavy vehicle road in Maghan without any casualties.

Another vehicle with one person inside was rescued in the 1026 Housing District following heavy rainfall. Civil Protection teams also performed water pumping operations in the neighborhoods of Barmadi, Chadli, Hamou, Toub, Dallas, and Intissar, with no casualties reported.

In the municipality of Matmar, a car stuck on National Road 04 was extracted, and the driver was found to be in good health. In the municipality of Oued Djemaa, water was pumped from a residence in Falahia village following the rainfall, with no casualties recorded.

In the municipality of Beni Zentis, services pumped accumulated rainwater from a house in the area known as Douar Ouled Zekri.

In Laghouat Province, a car carrying three people that was stuck in the mud was extracted after the water level of Oued Mzi rose in the Hamda area, with no casualties reported.

In Tiaret Province, rainwater was pumped from two houses in the Kerman and Djafaf neighborhoods, with no casualties recorded.
