The High Islamic Council, in cooperation with the League of Scholars, Preachers, and Imams of the Sahel Countries, is organizing a high-level scientific seminar today, Wednesday, at the Council’s headquarters in El Biar, Algiers, titled: “Religious Diplomacy in the African Sahel: Potential and Challenges.”
The seminar is witnessing an official presence, reflecting the weight Algeria places on strengthening intellectual security and spiritual depth in its regional area.
The scheduled program includes official speeches, a specialized scientific session, and presentations by a group of lecturers and scholars, including Professor Dr. Abdelrahman Sanoussi and Professor Mohamed Deif from Algeria, Sheikh Moussa Sarr from Mauritania, Dr. Hamza Ahmaday Moussa from Chad, and Sheikh Alpha Dahia Kounta from Mali.
These presentations will shed light on the analysis of the Algerian approach in the Sahel, while praising the state of cultural and social fusion between the countries of the region.
