The Ministry of Culture and Arts has officially announced the initiation of a nationwide call for proposals to lease and manage areas and spaces supervised by the National Office for the Management and Exploitation of Protected Cultural Properties, following specific conditions.

According to the ministry’s statement, the process encompasses five provinces as a first phase: Tébessa, Bordj Bou Arréridj, Jijel, Tlemcen, and Ouargla.

This initiative aligns with the economic approach endorsed by the Ministry of Culture and Arts, under the supervision of Minister Soumia Moulogi. It is a response to the directives of the President, aiming to stimulate investment in cultural resources, including historical sites and landmarks.

This move is part of a broader strategy by the ministry to activate the sites, landmarks, and site museums, creating competitive service conditions for the benefit of citizens under the supervision of professionals from the private sector.

Prospective applicants are urged to approach the branches of the National Office in the aforementioned provinces to obtain tender documents before January 7, 2024.
