The 15th edition of the International Exhibition of Renewable Energies, Future Energies and Sustainable Development (ERA) will be held from February 2 to 4 at the Oran Convention Center, according to a statement from the organizers.
The statement explained that this edition will focus on the “Energy Mix” and highlight key developments in the sector, particularly in renewable energies and green hydrogen, as well as decarbonization challenges.
According to the same source, approximately 100 exhibitors are expected to participate, including economic institutions, public bodies, banks, research centers, universities, and polytechnic schools, making it an opportunity to exchange expertise and develop partnerships.
Major companies participating in this edition include the Sonatrach Group, the Algeria Cement Industrial Group (GICA), Condor Electronics, the West Silos Industrial Group (GIAS), and Zergoun Green Energy.
Water resources will be represented by companies such as the Water and Sanitation Company of Algiers (SEAAL) and the Water Resources Group (GERHYD), while scientific research will be represented by a group of R&D centers alongside universities and polytechnic schools.
Organized by the event agency “Myriade,” the exhibition aims to support institutions in their energy transition efforts by encouraging the adoption of renewable energies to reduce the carbon footprint and contribute to the fight against global warming.
