The Russian mission to the United Nations stated on Saturday that the UN Security Council is scheduled to meet regarding Iran today.
The Russian mission had announced that Russia and China requested an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council to discuss the situation in Iran, following a U.S.-Israeli military attack on Iran today. This was followed by an Iranian response that extended from the Zionist entity to neighboring countries, targeting U.S. military bases in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia.
Earlier today, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei stated that the UN Security Council must act immediately to fulfill its primary responsibility in accordance with the UN Charter.
