Special bulletin: Strong winds tomorrow, Monday, in these provinces

Several provinces across the country are expected to experience strong winds, occasionally in the form of gusts, accompanied by sandstorms, according to a special bulletin issued Sunday by the National Meteorological Office.

The bulletin, classified at an “orange” alert level, stated that the provinces of El Bayadh, Laghouat, Tiaret, Djelfa, M’Sila, and Ghardaia will experience strong winds, sometimes as gusts, with sandstorms and significantly reduced visibility, starting tomorrow, Monday, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 PM.

Wind speeds, blowing from the east to southeast, will range between 60 and 70 km/h, and may sometimes reach or exceed 80 to 90 km/h, according to the same source.
