The Cybercrime Unit of the Skikda Provincial Security has arrested two women following a video posted on the TikTok platform. The suspects appeared in the footage making threats and using profane and indecent language.
According to a statement from the National Security, the operation was initiated after the unit monitored TikTok videos showing two women, one of whom was brandishing a bladed weapon. The footage contained insults and slurs directed at the public, along with offensive remarks targeting official institutions.
An investigation was launched in coordination with the public prosecutor’s office at the Skikda Court. The inquiries led to the identification and arrest of the suspects, who have since been referred to the relevant judicial authorities.
