President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, held a phone call this evening with his brother, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman, during which they discussed the latest developments regarding the dangerous military escalation in the Middle East.
The President expressed to the Sultan his hope for the return of security, peace, and tranquility to the region, while appreciating the role of Omani mediation and the very positive results it has achieved.
President Tebboune also held a phone call with Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, in which they discussed the developments of the situation in the Middle East.
The President expressed his full support for the mediation role of the Emir of Qatar to stop the dangerous escalation in the Middle East, wishing for an urgent return to tranquility and peace in the region.
