The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the postponement of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations finals.
In an official statement, CAF revealed that after consultations with its partners, it was decided to reschedule the tournament to take place from July 25 to August 16, 2026.
These new dates were established after the finals were originally slated to be held between March 17 and April 3, 2026.
The governing body explained that the decision aims to ensure the success of this significant women’s competition, citing unforeseen circumstances.
The national women’s team is set to compete in the upcoming edition of the tournament in Group A, alongside Senegal, Kenya, and Morocco.
