The Ministry of National Education announced on Thursday the opening of submissions for scientific articles to be published in the first issue of the International Journal of “Educational Innovation,” scheduled for release in June 2026. According to the ministry’s statement, this initiative is part of the sector’s efforts to establish a national scientific reference in the field of educational innovation and to promote creative initiatives in education, while strengthening the role of scientific research in developing educational practices and improving learning quality.
The ministry also revealed the research scope and targeted fields accepted by the journal, including advanced technologies and pedagogical innovation, the design of innovative teaching methods and interactive techniques for teaching languages and academic subjects, innovation in learning and evidence-based teaching strategies, curriculum design, development of educational materials and learning assessment, life skills and entrepreneurship in education, educational administration and leadership, and experimental research and multidisciplinary educational innovation.
Furthermore, the ministry clarified the publishing conditions, stating that research must be original and not previously published or presented in any other scientific activity. Research can be written in Arabic, English, or French, with two abstracts not exceeding 150 words each—one mandatory in Arabic and the other in English—along with a maximum of five keywords. Titles, abstracts, and keywords must not be machine-translated.
The ministry confirmed that the research paper should be between 12 and 20 pages long, including margins, tables, and illustrations. The ministry noted that priority will be given to applied and procedural research and studies. Regarding fonts, Sakkal Majalla size 16 is required for Arabic, and Times New Roman size 12 for foreign languages, with references documented according to the American Psychological Association (APA) style, sixth edition, and adherence to the journal’s unified template.
The ministry indicated that articles cannot be withdrawn during the peer-review process. All research is subject to review by a specialized international scientific committee, and authors will be notified of the evaluation results. The articles reflect the personal views of their authors and may not be published elsewhere without written permission from the journal’s editor-in-chief.
The target groups for publishing in the journal include inspectors, school directors, teachers, educational practitioners, researchers, research professors, and doctoral students. Articles should be sent via the journal’s email address, with April 21, 2026, set as the final deadline for submitting scientific contributions.
