Detachments of the People’s National Army eliminated three additional terrorists on Friday in the Tebessa military sector. According to a statement from the Ministry of National Defense, the operation resulted in the recovery of three Kalashnikov-type submachine guns, bringing the total toll to seven terrorists, including two ’emirs’ identified as Younes Saleh and Haddad Bilal. Seven Kalashnikov submachine guns, a significant amount of ammunition, and other items were also seized.
The same statement confirmed that three soldiers were martyred following the clash with the terrorist group. General Saïd Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, expressed his deepest condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs on behalf of himself and all army personnel, praying for God’s mercy upon them and patience for their loved ones during this holy month.
