Five people were killed and 38 others injured in a traffic accident on National Road No. 46 in the Mardoud area, located in the Ben Srour municipality of M’Sila province.
Civil Protection reported that its units intervened at 1:25 AM following a collision between a passenger bus, operating on the El Oued-Tlemcen line, and a truck on National Road No. 46 in the Mardoud area of the Ben Srour district.
The accident resulted in five fatalities and 38 injuries of varying severity among both genders. The injured were treated and transported to the local hospital, while the deceased were transferred to the hospital’s morgue.
Civil Protection services deployed seven ambulances and a rescue truck for the operation.
