The National Meteorological Office announced on Tuesday that thunderstorms, strong winds, and sandstorms are expected across several provinces of the country.
In an alert, the office indicated that the expected rainfall will range between 20 and 40 mm, starting from 3:00 PM today until 3:00 PM tomorrow, Wednesday, in the province of Tindouf.
The office also warned of strong winds with speeds ranging between 60 and 70 km/h, potentially reaching 90 km/h, in the provinces of Biskra, Batna, Khenchela, and Tébessa. The warning remains in effect until noon today, Tuesday.
In the same context, the National Meteorological Office announced the formation of sandstorms from 6:00 AM until 3:00 PM in the provinces of M’Sila, Biskra, Ouled Djellal, and Tindouf.
