The Ministry of National Education announced on Wednesday an amendment to the third term exam schedule for the 2025-2026 academic year.
According to a ministry statement, this decision comes as part of the preparations for national school exams—the Intermediate Education Certificate and the Baccalaureate for the 2026 session—and to ensure the smooth conclusion of the 2025/2026 academic year. The ministry announced the modification of the third term exam schedule for all three educational levels.
The statement explained that the assessment of primary education achievements will take place on May 3, 4, and 5, 2026. Assessments for the end of the first and second cycles of primary education will be held on May 4 and 5, 2026.
Third term exams for all levels across the three educational stages will be organized from Sunday, May 10, to Thursday, May 14, 2026.
The Ministry of Education also confirmed that makeup exams remain unchanged and will be held on Monday and Tuesday, June 22 and 23, 2026.
