On Sunday morning, the cruise ship Viking Vesta docked at the Port of Algiers at Pier 9, arriving from Tunisia with 966 tourists of various nationalities on board.
According to the Algiers Port Authority, the tourists received a special welcome from the institution’s services. All necessary facilities were provided to ensure the smooth passage of passengers onto buses that will take them on exploratory tours of the archaeological sites and landmarks in Algeria.
This activity is part of efforts aimed at promoting maritime tourism and revitalizing the capital’s waterfront.
