The Port of Algiers received a shipment of imported sheep from Spain on Thursday night, totaling 12,350 head.
According to a statement from the institution, this operation is part of the policy adopted by the President of the Republic aimed at ensuring the supply of livestock to the national market in anticipation of Eid al-Adha.
The docking of the ship “Unimar” took place under strict organizational conditions, reflecting the readiness of the institution’s staff. In this context, the necessary logistical and human resources were mobilized to ensure the smooth and safe unloading of this shipment, in accordance with the procedures in force within the port area, the statement added.
