Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, received today at the ministry’s headquarters the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain, José Manuel Albares Bueno, who is on an official visit to Algeria.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two ministers held a private meeting, followed by an expanded working session with the participation of delegations from both countries.
In this context, both parties praised the significant momentum in cooperation and partnership relations between the two countries, particularly in the energy sector and other economic fields. They also expressed their aspiration to achieve further gains in developing the bilateral partnership and expanding its vital areas.
On another note, the two ministers exchanged views and analyses on several international and regional issues of common interest, foremost among them the crisis situations in the Middle East, as well as developments in the Sahel-Saharan region and on both sides of the Mediterranean.
