Mamadou Sangafowa Coulibaly, the Minister of Mines, Petroleum and Energy of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire and current President of the Ministerial Meeting of the African Petroleum Producers’ Organization, is visiting Algeria from March 28 to 31. He is leading a high-level delegation including officials from the Ivorian mining, petroleum, and energy sectors.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Energy and Mines, this visit is part of completing previous consultations and exchanges between the two countries. It aims to explore ways to strengthen and develop bilateral cooperation, particularly in the fields of hydrocarbons and mining. This falls within efforts to consolidate African partnerships and enhance South-South cooperation, especially in strategic sectors with a direct impact on economic and social development.
The visit also includes the Ivorian minister’s participation in the eighth symposium of the Algerian Gas Industry Association, scheduled for March 30 and 31 at the Mohamed Ben Ahmed Convention Center in Oran.
