The Secretary General of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Veron Mosengo, has submitted his resignation from the head of the African football governing body.
Veron Mosengo announced his retirement and departure from his position on Sunday morning, following the conclusion of his term and reaching the legal retirement age.
Mosengo had headed the continental football body since March 2021. In his place, Samson Adamu has been appointed as the new Secretary General of CAF.
