Serbian Prime Minister Arrives in Algeria for a Working Visit

Serbian Prime Minister Djuro Matsot arrived in Algeria on Monday evening for a working visit at the head of a high-level delegation.

He was received upon his arrival at Houari Boumediene International Airport by Prime Minister Sifi Gharib, accompanied by a ministerial delegation, as well as the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lounas Magramane, and Mahrez Fateh, Algeria’s Ambassador to Serbia.

This visit falls within the framework of strengthening the relations of friendship and cooperation between Algeria and Serbia, aiming to consolidate bilateral cooperation and expand partnership horizons, particularly in the economic and investment fields.

The visit also reflects the political will of the leaders of the two countries, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vučić, to elevate bilateral relations to broader levels and enhance coordination and consultation on issues of common interest.
