The National Meteorological Office has issued a warning regarding strong winds and sandstorms, along with the formation of thunderstorms in several provinces.
The office expects thunderstorms to form in the provinces of El Tarf, Annaba, Skikda, Jijel, Bejaia, Tizi Ouzou, Boumerdes, Algiers, Tipaza, Ain Defla, Medea, Blida, Bouira, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Setif, Mila, Constantine, Guelma, and Souk Ahras.
The same source reported strong winds in the provinces of El Tarf, Annaba, Skikda, Jijel, Tebessa, Khenchela, Biskra, and Ouled Djellal.
It also warned of sandstorms in the provinces of Biskra and Ouled Djellal today, Thursday.
