The Algerian Water Desalination Company, a subsidiary of the Sonatrach Group, announced that the “Fouka 2” seawater desalination plant has returned to service at its full production capacity.
In a statement released on Friday, the company announced the completion of scheduled periodic maintenance work at the Fouka 2 seawater desalination plant in Tipaza province.
Consequently, the plant has resumed operations and is currently functioning at its full production capacity of 300,000 cubic meters per day under normal operating conditions, ensuring the continuity of water supply.
The company also emphasized that this operation is part of a proactive maintenance program aimed at ensuring facility readiness and service continuity in accordance with approved standards.
