The Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, Abdelkader Djellaoui, chaired a coordination session exclusively dedicated to the public works sector on Saturday morning at the ministry’s headquarters.
According to a ministry statement, the session reviewed the progress of ongoing projects across various provinces, as well as upcoming projects, and explored future prospects for the sector.
Attended by the ministry’s central officials, the meeting is part of preparations for a series of field visits the minister will undertake to various public works projects nationwide, particularly those involving the development and maintenance of the road and highway network.
This meeting also serves as a key coordination phase ahead of periodic meetings with public works directors, scheduled to take place via videoconference in the coming days. These sessions aim to enhance field follow-up and accelerate project completion rates, the statement added.
