Madrid Hosts Algeria-Spain Business Summit, Sealing Major Economic Partnership

The Spanish capital Madrid hosted a high-level working meeting between Algerian economic representatives and Spain’s Secretary of State for Trade, Amparo López, in the presence of Algeria’s Ambassador to Spain, marking a new milestone in bilateral relations.

The meeting followed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Algeria’s Economic Renewal Council and the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations, as exclusively reported by dzwatch.

Algeria’s Economic Renewal Council President Kamal Moulay told dzwatch that the outcomes of the meeting reflect a shared determination to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation and expand partnership horizons between institutions of both nations.

The talks resulted in an agreement to organize an Algeria-Spain Economic Forum in Madrid and establish a bilateral business council aimed at structuring economic exchanges and supporting growing partnerships between operators of both countries.

Priority sectors identified include energy, water, infrastructure, and food industries, within a framework built on economic integration, wealth creation, and job opportunities.
