Algeria’s Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security has announced a series of new measures aimed at improving social services and better addressing citizens’ needs, with the highlight being the confirmed disbursement date for retirees’ pensions for May 2026.
The Ministry told dzwatch that pension payments will be processed during the first week of May, incorporating the newly approved increases, with all organizational measures in place to ensure deadlines are met and no delays affect beneficiaries.
The Ministry also emphasized its continued commitment to digital transformation, accelerating the rollout of e-services to allow citizens to access various administrative services remotely, eliminating the need to visit government offices in person — a step designed to streamline procedures and enhance the quality of public service delivery.
