Algeria’s Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of the National Community Abroad, Dr. Soufiane Chayeb, today received the UNICEF Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa, Edouard Voislav Beigbeder, at the headquarters of the Algerian Foreign Ministry.
The meeting served as a platform to review the distinguished cooperation between Algeria and UNICEF, exploring ways to strengthen joint programs and ambitious projects — particularly in the promotion and protection of children’s rights and welfare.
Algeria’s leading regional and international role in championing children’s rights was recognized, with both sides highlighting the vast opportunities available to deepen collaboration with the UN organization.
