Algeria is set to host the second edition of the African Export and Logistics Conference on April 21, 2026, at the Sheraton Club des Pins Hotel in Algiers, starting at 9:00 AM. The event is held under the patronage of the Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion.
The conference aims to explore opportunities and address challenges related to global trade and logistics, particularly across the African continent. It will bring together experts, exporters, logistics operators, and trade professionals for African-African dialogue and networking.
A rich program of presentations will cover new procedures and state-granted advantages for exporters, including intellectual property competition policy, investment policy, and the e-commerce sector.
The event targets strengthening trade operations within the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) framework, optimizing logistics costs, and promoting Algerian products in African markets to diversify wealth beyond hydrocarbons.
More than 30 African countries and over 200 companies across key sectors — including agriculture, agri-food, packaging, heavy and light industries, banking, insurance, and transport — are expected to attend, dzwatch has learned.
