Algeria’s Minister of Industry, Yahia Bachir, received on Thursday a high-level Russian delegation led by Sergei Cheryomin, Head of Moscow’s Department of External Economic and International Relations, in a landmark working meeting aimed at deepening bilateral industrial cooperation.
The meeting, held at the ministry’s headquarters and attended by Russia’s Ambassador to Algeria, Alexei Solomatin, focused on identifying strategic partnership opportunities across key industrial and economic sectors of mutual interest.
According to exclusive information obtained by dzwatch, both sides discussed concrete mechanisms to expand cooperation through knowledge exchange, investment promotion, and the launch of high-value joint industrial projects.
This visit signals a significant step forward in the growing Algeria-Russia strategic partnership, reinforcing Algiers’ commitment to diversifying its international economic alliances beyond Western frameworks.
