President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Saturday received Alice Rufo, the French Minister Delegate in charge of Veterans Affairs under the French Armed Forces Minister, accompanied by France’s Ambassador to Algeria, Stéphane Romatet, in a significant diplomatic engagement exclusively confirmed to dzwatch.
According to a presidential statement, the meeting was attended by Ibrahim Merad, Minister of State in charge of the General Inspectorate of State Affairs and Local Communities, Ahmed Attaf, Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, as well as Ammar Abba, Presidential Adviser for Diplomatic Affairs.
The high-level reception underscores Algeria’s continued engagement with France on matters of mutual historical and diplomatic significance, as both nations navigate their complex bilateral relationship.
