Algeria’s government held a high-level cabinet meeting Monday, chaired by Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui, to examine the country’s National Artificial Intelligence Strategy and the launch plan for the national digital services portal, Dzair Digital Services+.
The strategy, developed under the direct leadership of the President of the Republic, is built on three structural pillars: data infrastructure, digital facilities, and human capital development — the cornerstones of any sustainable national AI capability.
Once formally adopted by the Council of Ministers, the strategy will be translated into concrete action plans with clearly defined priorities and measurable milestones.
The government also reviewed the rollout of the Dzair Digital Services+ portal, accessible via both web and mobile, designed to deliver high-quality, user-friendly public services — reducing unnecessary movement, simplifying administrative procedures, and boosting transparency.
